![]() ![]() I was puzzled by the hardcopy owner's manual and the online owner's manual that not only does not have an index listing for the Nav system but oddly has NO listing of any topic starting with the letter N. The Navigation Guide, however does not have instructions for map updates. I also downloaded the "Navigation Guide" into the "My Mazda" phone app which brings it up under "Guides" with the tab "Mazda Connect". This online source of information may have been communicated to me at the time of purchase but I don't remember that instruction. I know you and the others in this thread's earlier posts know all this but I am being detailed for those future thread readers that didn't know (like me). I now see the information that is available online at the "Mazda HandsFree and Mazda Connect Support" " via "Mazda Connect and Navigation for my 2020 Miata GT This has a great deal of good information including a link to how to update the maps. The incorrect 7th generation app - MazdaUpdateToolbox.exe has a very different appearance. When you run the CORRECT version which is tbagent.exe it looks like app open in the picture. Please uninstall it and installed the correct version from the links I gave you. then you have installed the WRONG version. Which contains the binary MazdaUpdateToolbox.exe You can edit it to point to the correct binary, tbagent.exe to fix the start menu, or you can just open the binary directly in explorer, or create your own shortcut to it on the desktop.Ĭ:\Program Files (x86)\Mazda Update toolbox If you right click on the Mazda Toolbox shortcut in that folder and click on properties, it should look like the window open at the bottom of the pic below. You can right click on the Start Menu entry, then click on ' More', then ' open file location' and it will open the folder containing the shortcut the Start menu uses to open the application. The shortcut itself that is used to open the binary is installed in C:\Users\\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\ Start Menu\Programs\Mazda and is called Mazda Toolbox.
